Did you know that for over 10 years now the Millennium Stadium has played a vital role in Santa Claus' Christmas Eve operations? Were you aware that our Head Groundsman grows the grass on the pitch an inch longer each December? He leaves the stadium roof open on Christmas Eve so that Santa can touchdown and restock his sleigh in Cardiff before heading off around Wales and the rest of the world? Rudolph and the other reindeer have a quick graze on the pitch, while Santa refills his sleigh full of toys from his secret Welsh headquarters deep in the heart of the Stadium!
The great news is that Santa is back at the Stadium again December 2012! Children and friends will get the opportunity once again to take a fun filled "highlights" Tour of the Stadium visiting the press suite, dressing rooms, players' tunnel and pitch collecting pieces of picture puzzle along to the route. These make up the secret password giving them access into Santa's secret grotto. Once inside children will meet and receive a gift from Santa himself!
Please Note: Due to Stadium Events and Fixtures, pre-booking for Santa Tours in Dec 2013 will not open until September 2013. If you would like to receive an advance booking notification before the Tours go on public sale, please click on the link above and email your request to us.
Santa Claus Tours last approximately 35minutes and are likely to run from December 4th - 24th December.
Group bookings of up to 30 persons can be booked online, however for larger group sizes please contact our Tours Administrator on 029 2082 2308 or email tours@millenniumstadium.com.
