Travel
Australia are the visitors to Cardiff this Saturday at the city's Millennium Stadium.
The afternoon kick off is at 2:30pm and fans travelling to the match are advised to plan their journeys well in advance, arrive early and be aware of road closures in the city centre.
Fans who do intend bringing their cars can ease worries over congestion and parking costs by car sharing and using park and ride services.
The sites can be accessed from J33 of the M4: follow the signs to the Leckwith park and ride service, which is based at Cardiff City Stadium (CF11 8EG). The service costs £5 a car.
The sites will have a staff presence from 9:00am and will open at 9:30am, with the first bus leaving at this time. The last bus will leave the pick-up point at 6:00pm, with car parks closing at 6:30pm.
The services are accessible for the disabled, people with movement difficulties and wheelchair users, with dedicated parking adjacent to the bus pick-up. Low floor buses and raised kerbs at both pick up and drop off points will also be in use throughout the day.
Users of the park and ride service should be reminded that if they are planning to leave the Stadium immediately after the match has finished to return to the park and ride site, traffic congestion will be at its peak. Buses are running until 6:00pm to accommodate this congestion and the effect it has on journey times.
Please note that Cardiff East Park and Ride and County Hall Park and Ride are not event services. These have been set aside for shoppers.
Coaches should leave the M4 at Junction 32, where they will be directed to Sophia Gardens. Parking here costs £10 and full driver facilities are available. Coach parking can be pre-booked in advance on 02920 873981.
Car drivers can also park in Sophia Gardens, however due to the proximity to the Stadium will also have to pay the £10 charge.
